Nijar is situated in the province Almeria in the south east of Andalusia. You can easily reach Nijar from all directions. The village is situated 4 km from the exit from the motorway A7 – E15 Almeria- Murcia. From Madrid you can either go via Murcia or Granada.

The Almeria airport is situated between Almeria and Nijar. There are direct flights from England, Germany and Belgium. From other european cities there are flights with very competitive prices to Alicante or Malaga. At these airports you can easily rent a car.

Trains and long distance buses go to Almeria. A regional bus connects Nijar with Almeria. For your stay in Nijar a car or a motorbike is useful to get to the beaches, the surrounding villages and other interesting places in the region, where distances of no more than 30 – 40 km have to be travelled.
